Midterm season over... I wish!

So I've had my first round of midterms returned, and the results were less than superb, but not absolutely disastrous. I managed to squeak effective passes in two of the midterms (ie as close to 50 as you can get), got an expected 60 on another, and bullshat my way to a 70 on the third. The only bright spot, my physics midterm, hasn't been returned yet due to Prof. Hanes getting Avian Flu.

I'm now sitting in the Chem building waiting for my 11:30 to start. I've got a midterm in this class tomorrow, and it's gonna be rough. The prof is out to make undergrads realize just how good we've had it so far.

For those of you who have managed to move on with their lives and are no longer writing midterms, exams, quizzes - I hate you.

Unrelatedly, I've started swimming again. I only managed 20 lengths last night (500 m) before my arms got too tired. I'm going to keep going regularly and try to be at 1500 m in 45 mins within a month. I figure it'll be two weeks of nasty times before I can really go hard at it. I'm going to try to go three mornings a week from 7:15 to 8:15... we'll see how well that plan works. Oh, my new goggles are awesome!
